SteamVR Home: Teleportation VFX are not swapped when falling back on look based teleportation aiming. #15

SteamVR Home If both motion controllers lose tracking, teleportation switches to head-based aiming but teleport arc and circle appear in the last location the controller was tracked. [insert photos] Repro Steps:

  1. Launch title.
  2. Once the home environment loads, Teleport around using motion controllers.
  3. Hide motion controllers from tracking; Both controller's models should disappear where they were last seen.
  4. With the controllers still hidden, Hold down the teleport button. Observe teleport arc and circle appear to originate where the controller was last seen.
  5. While still holding down the teleport button, move your head around and release. Observe haptic feedback in the controller indicates the app is using head rotation to aim and teleports you based on where you were looking.

Encountered Result: When falling back on look based teleport aiming, the teleport arc is not hidden and the circle does not follow look direction. Expected Result: When falling back on look-based teleportation, a circle appears where you are looking and no teleport arc can be seen.

Repro Rate: 5/5

Config Details: Issue is not CPU or GPU bound Tested on AMD Threadripper 1950X, Intel Core i7-8700k, Intel Core i7-4790K. Tested on Radeon RX 480 MSI, Nvidia GeForce GTX 980, AMD Radeon R9 380. Steam System Report
