mouse application #1396

does anyone got any suggestions for mouse application to get "windows 6/11"?

Hello @azy1, can you clarify what the intent of this question is? From past issue reports, I have to assume the question is for Mac, in which case you are asking about a system setting in Windows which does not have a direct equivalent on Mac.

A quick google search for "Mac mouse acceleration" may have what you are looking for, but I can make no promises with regard to compatibility of third party mouse software.

He's talking about mouse pointer speed. In Windows you control speed of the pointer with a slide that has 11 steps, and default is slider in 6th position. Hence 6/11

is there an application for mac ? because smoothmouse does not work anymore

https://steelseries.com/downloads Try that link and scroll down to the "ExactMouse Tool". It removes mouse acceleration and is amazing. Just download and unzip. It works for any mouse, and even the trackpad. It removes mouse acceleration, but that might not what you will be looking for. Unfortunately, it only removes mouse acceleration, it does not adjust sensitivity.

Oh yeah, it has Mac compatability.

http://triq.net/mac/mouse-acceleration ← I use this extensively to wrangle the insane acceleration of my Logitech MX Master mouse, which has built-in acceleration separate from OS level mouse controls. To fully eliminate acceleration (and achieve linear motion) I need to set this to -2.0x (that's right, negative 2x acceleration!) This tool gives an extensive range for customization (way more than "11 steps", lol) and splits acceleration between mouse and trackpad input.
