Happens when shooting

nightsky30 commented 7 years ago

Are these lag spikes so serious that the game freezes temporarily and you see the message stating there is a connection problem with a 25 second countdown timer?

My ping is usually in the 30s, but lately I've been getting a freezing connection problem message once every so often. I'm on Linux though...

ghost commented 7 years ago

No rather the frame rate drops from over 60 down to 30fps or lower making shooting especially at close range close to impossible.

sz-joao-pacheco commented 7 years ago

Same issue here, fps drops to 30 or lower when I look to the right and shoot someone.

I've also experienced this issue, I realized that turning mouse Raw_Input off then on again would stop the character from jerking to the right, but does not resolve the lag problem

mkhamat commented 7 years ago

Also have that problem... Ping good, loss and choke 0 But sv and var get high even on local server with bots.

This bug has been happening for months and months. I doubt they will ever fix it... They only care about the Windows build as that is where most of the players are.
