Your system information

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I entered an Arms Race match, and the Arms Race HUD was stuck center screen. Upon death it disappeared, but at respawn, it was again appeared center screen. This lasted the entire match.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Select Arms Race game type
  2. Click Go
  3. Start match, and notice the HUD is in the center of the screen

This happened when I entered an Arms Race match which had just ended, and was transitioning to a new map. My guess is the map transition caused the HUD glitch somehow. CSGO started loading the previous match's map, then the new map. This HUD glitch has never happened at any other time.

I realize the variables are complicated, and a match could end at any moment causing race conditions between match votes, map/mode transitions, and new player connections. Is it possible to put guards in place so that players entering matches be prevented from entering a match that is in map/game mode transition?

Apart from this HUD glitch I've had other instances where I selected Arms Race, but when I finally entered the match it was Demolition due to a vote that occurred during my connection/map load.
