CSGO Crashed shortly after joining a game. #1650

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Basically it sounds like the same issue with #1649, but mine happened in competitive mode and I got a cool down : )

There's four of us playing Competitive today. When the map (Dust II) completed loading, the game quit instantly. Since we were in a voice chat, I'm immediately informed that the other two macOS players' game quit, while the Windows player is unaffected.

This had happened to me several times before. The game quit itself after the map completes loading.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Start CSGO
  2. Join a game (in Perfect World servers)
  3. The game may crash.
  4. If the game crashed, you can never go back in because the game crashes every time you try.

Thank you for reporting this. I am having trouble reproducing it. Can you provide the console output for when you experience this crash?

I forgot to add that I was playing in Perfect World servers. Try Perfect World servers. I cannot provide console outputs since the game crashes before I can copy and paste the output. Or are there any other ways to get past console output?

I'm having the same problem. Sometimes it just crashes, sometimes I get the "csgo_osx64 quit unexpectedly" popup after. Would it help if I shared the crash log from the popup?

I'm playing on Perfect World servers.

I just tried playing a game yesterday, and it doesn't crash anymore.

Not sure how relevant this is, but I also made sure to fill in all my info on my perfect world account. I kept getting popups about that every time I launched the game.
