For reference, the attached minidump is a SIGSEGV in materialsystem_client.so.

asiantuntija commented 6 years ago

Okay tested some more and it crashes in all of submenus, specific gun may work just fine on one round but crashes the following. I did have a round where the game didn't crash when hovering over each weapon.

kisak-valve commented 6 years ago

Per "Fixed a frequent game crash in the buy menu." in the 2018-07-12 CS:GO update, please retest this issue.

asiantuntija commented 6 years ago

Still happening the same way

boustrophedon commented 6 years ago

This does not happen consistently for me

vanitasvitae commented 6 years ago

Same issue.

cement-head commented 6 years ago

Same issue in Linux,not consistent.

an0nfunc commented 6 years ago

Still happens after last update.

vanitasvitae commented 6 years ago

Hope this gets fixed before Panorama gets mandatory...

pschichtel commented 6 years ago

I can also confirm this bug is still happening. Very consistently for me.

pschichtel commented 6 years ago

Not hovering any weapons (2. level) does not crash the game. swiping quickly over the weapons also didn't trigger the crash directly, but staying for a moment on one weapen did.

@kisak-valve The crash was in studiorender_client.so as well:

boustrophedon commented 6 years ago

Can confirm this just happened to me again today (in panorama), but it's not at all consistent.

I wonder if it has something to do with framerate.

jaxwilko commented 6 years ago

This is also happening to me, super annoying in comp.

regenyn commented 6 years ago

Just happened to me. Debian 9.5, not consistent. There is also lags while trying to do "fast buy" (using keyboard) in buy menu.

dgvalde commented 6 years ago

A quick solution is to disable the Parnorama UI by adding the option "-scaleform" in the launch commands.

netguino commented 6 years ago

Same thing, happening here with Arch, Mesa 18.1.5-1 Buying with keyboard seems to be the workaround

dump.zip

pschichtel commented 6 years ago

Latest update solved the issue for me.

whyman commented 6 years ago

Solved for me too on latest update.

kisak-valve commented 6 years ago

Anyone else still experiencing this issue with the current CS:GO client?

jaxwilko commented 6 years ago

Haven't had this problem since the last update, thanks

an0nfunc commented 6 years ago

Can confirm this is fixed with last update.

kisak-valve commented 6 years ago

Thanks for checking, closing from the recent comments.

marcioaguiar commented 6 years ago
