Unable to launch csgo on Xubuntu 18.04 #1877

Your system information

Linux 4.15.0-38-generic

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I open Counter-Strike Global Offensive and I click the play arrow button. Then game comes up and resizes, but when I click on the menu items, nothing happens.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Open Counter-Strike Global Offensive
  2. Click the play arrow button one the left menu bar.
  3. Game comes up and resizes.
  4. Click on any menu items.
  5. Nothing happens.

Hello @fedor-elizarov, #1702 is tracking a mesa/r600g specific issue and is not relevant to nvidia users.

When I launch it and click on a dropdown list or button, nothing happens, they do not respond. I also tried the -nojoy.

I have 8 27 inch monitors, but am only using 4 most of the time.

I was able to get it to start once by clicking all over the form until I hit a point that it though the drop down was located (which was some white space on the form). In other words, the event handler is being triggered when I click in the wrong place.

Anyways, I just started CSGO and it did an update, and now it will not start at all, starts loading and never appears. Seems to be crashing now.

hi @paulewetzel the quoted issue is related to this one https://github.com/ValveSoftware/csgo-osx-linux/issues/1883 follow that for updates

Yes, that fixed the problem with the last update but I still have a problem when I click on the menus and they do not respond. When my phone charges I will upload a video and post a link so the problem can be better understood.

Here is a video that shows my problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0moVLl1k28&feature=youtu.be Also, one time I was about to get to the trainer by clicking around on the form, and the image was all stretched. I am not able to see the item i need to pick up, etc.
