Can't queue for Deathmatch

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When i click GO to queue for Deathmatch, the button disappears and nothing else happens. None of the map groups is working. I don't have this issue with the other modes. The console gives me the following errors:

Expected game mode deathmatch to be in game type classic, but match specifies gungame Can't resolve game type or mapgroup from session

In attempt to solve this issue, i unsuccessfully tried to:

1. Verify integrity of game files
2. Use a different account
3. Reinstall the game

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Click 'Play CSGO'
2. Select Deathmatch
3. Click GO

@ROSS1996 can you try

• installing the latest official GPU drivers 511.09
• disable steam cloud in steam client
• clear download cache in steam client
• delete / move your config files (autoconfig and .local/share/Steam/userdata/{ID}/730) so the original configs will be created.
• re-validate files 2-3 times try again with default configs, add your configs later if it works

I managed to solve the issue by doing a fresh re-install of both, Steam and CSGO.
