We are having trouble reproducing this problem -- it has worked on the OSX machines we have tried it on.
Can any users who have this problem please post their system specs (in particular the video card and OS version) so that we can get some more clarity on the kinds of systems that have this problem?
Imac 7,1 osx version 10.6.8. Csgo launches and closes right after without any error/crash message, its been happening since the 5/2/2015 update. processor: core 2 duo 2.4ghz gpu: ati radeon hd 2600
Me and my friends have this problem.
After reading all the angry posts on internet it seems like this happens with every 2012 and 2013 Macbook Pro with retina display and dynamic graphics card switching.

I was having this same error, but is different now My game is opening now and just show a white screen. I can hear the game sound and even pass the mouse at the top menu (cause it makes some noise).
I have a macbook pro 2010, 2 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6490M 256 MB.
We have released a new update which should resolve the 'white screen' issue some users are seeing. Please let us know if you still experience problems.
