Same here, crashes when minimizing the window. Journal output is pretty simple:

-- This usually indicates a programming error in the crashing program and
-- should be reported to its vendor as a bug.

I'm on 3.18.6-1 x64 Arch, using proprietary NVIDIA drivers and Plasma 5.

Edit: The usual workaround for such was launching Steam in Big Picture mode, which I haven't yet tried.

Edit 3: Apparently happens all the way in competitive lobby, not only when accepting.

deri82 commented 9 years ago

Mint 17.1 ati r9 290, open source drivers.

When the match is ready the csgo just kills itself, window disaappers and you cant accept the match.

This issue only affects me if I'm alt tabbed. I got the same kind of crashes (crash when confirm button pops up) a few months ago but fixed them by setting the game to borderless window. This workaround doesen't work for this bug.

System: Linux, openSUSE 13.2 Nvidia GTX 570

candreacchio commented 9 years ago

I encounter the same issue. if i have focus on another program, and the accept fires off, then it will crash. It also crashes if i try to enable the background audio option that was added in the latest update... unsure if this is related or not.

System : Linux Mint 17.1 GTX 580, 341 drivers

deri82 commented 9 years ago

I can confirm that i was able to play competive match when i waited in game, but if i wait the game to be ready at desktop, it fails.

bsuttonq commented 9 years ago

Confirmed, I am having this issue when active window isn't csgo and match is found in comp MM. If csgo is active window, then I only have all of the other ways csgo is crashing right now (segfaults, audio in background, etc. etc.) No es bueno.

We have a fix for this -- expect it to be resolved in the next update.

davidw-valve commented 9 years ago

Should be fixed now. Please file a new bug report if you still have issues.
