Patching client-side translations (phrases)

Description:

Today I got a message from a friend. He wrote that some of the translations (on the client-side) were replaced by advertisements (link to the website). I went to the server he sent me. This server uploaded a translation file to the client with changed phrases (with ads).

My suggestion: reject the upload of .txt files to the resource folder (or any other solution that rejects downloading translation files). Please do this only with .txt files.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Download the translation file with the changed phrases from the ds.

Зачем это заливать на общее обозрение сюда, а если VALVE не исправят?)

Достаточно отписать в support стима и обычно они передают этот запрос разработчикам )
