Frequency has increased after last update.

Verified Game cache many time, each time it says 1 file failed and will be reacquired.

What way freezes? I got freezes that the hole system has to be restarted. Cant finnish any game. Amd and oipaf ppa.

Yes i have to restart my Linux machine, If within few seconds of freeze i press power button then LM show shutdown option else complete system freeze.But in any case i have restart my system. It is same as like if some process is forking child in a loop infinitely.

I didnt mention but I have this with dota2, been like that for months now. I don't know how to debug this out. Csgo works for me. Also all other games I have tried via wine. No issues. R9 290.

@deri82 are you using the same or similar video card?

If the entire system is freezing this is almost certainly a driver bug of some kind. It is possible that CS:GO exercises the path in the video card which causes the problem while other games don't.
