[CS2] Frustratingly inconsistent mouse and keyboard actions

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Intermittent issues with mouse and keyboard inputs, never happened with CSGO all the same equipment. Mouse will inconsistently fast double click while lining up a flash or smoke. Also seems to be noticeable tapping with AK, you can click/tap consistently but you will get an occasional double tap that lifts the crosshair. Similar weirdness with keyboard pressing a bind for utility (keys - Q/C/V/4) or weapons (keys - 1,2) the player model, hud and audio will quickly flick as if I pressed the key but it feels like a microstutter and I am back with knife out and have to press the key again.

Some matches I don't ever have it other matches it will do it several times, maybe related to server connection feels worse if the connection is ropy. Played Overpass several times today, this afternoon it didn't happen once, this evening very little of my utility went where I wanted it due to this.

Used online tools and xev to confirm hardware is still ok. Seems too much of a coincidence it only does this in CS2 Started first day of CS2 release, never had it with CSGO or other games or programs.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

I am having the same issue with tapping the ak. Even happened with the usp once which makes its super weird as its not an automatic weapon. and sometimes when jumping I notice my strafe button holds for too long.

The new "display network connection issues" option really highlights that it's related to that. The majority of the time it happens is when this is on screen, I have occasionally had it say packet loss in text but mostly it's just the coloured squares. It seems to be getting worse over the last weeks, it never really happened much when a game is on my nearest server but it has started to disrupt large periods of rounds even on the nearest server. It's at the point it's spoiling games, loosing elo and motivation to play any more. It's not like you can go and play other gamemodes either.

This seems to be getting worse with every update. Lag spikes as you peek into angles making movement sticky, nades and flashes all cause the connection issues indication to appear. Missing clicks even seem to happen in spawn selecting a full buy left to right across the buy menu often leaves you missing a flash or smoke, definitely click every time.

This is exactly my problem. It makes me want to destroy the mouse. Like 10% of the time i have the crosshair right on a head, and mouse WON'T FIRE

As the prior two comments, on linux, about 10% of the time the game simply does not respond to my clicks. I've uninstalled until this is fixed as it makes the game unplayable.

I understand the Linux userbase is small but not being able to shoot is a ridiculous issue to have in an FPS game. Why bother with a native Linux release at all?
