Muting a player doesn't seem to work #3407

Your system information

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I was playing a casual game, and a couple of players got into a loud argument in the voice chat. I muted both of them via the scoreboard, by clicking the player name and then clicking the voice volume. After that, I could still hear one of the muted players and see that it was him speaking. No one else was showing as speaking. I don't know if muting the other guy worked, ie., if he spoke and was correctly muted, but at least this one player wasn't muted.

In other words, I expected to not hear the muted player(s) after muting them, but I still could hear them on the voice chat.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. go to a casual server
  2. open scoreboard and mute someone who uses the voice chat constantly
  3. see, or rather hear what happens

I don't know if it's related to the platform (Linux) or something wider, or if muting works partially, but at very least it doesn't seem to work very well.

I'd add a screenshot showing the muted player in the scoreboard and the icon that indicates that he's speaking, but there appears to be no screenshot functionality in the game.

I tested more today when I played some casual. Apparently the adjacent volume slider for the player voice comms has also no effect whatsoever.
