[Linux] Can't change language to other than english. How to change to polish?

As in the title, despite the fact that the game supports the Polish language I can not change the language the game from English to Polish.

On steam I use Polish language, in the properties of the game CS: GO is also set to have a Polish language, but despite this game always starts in English. I set up a command in the startup options: "LC_ALL=C LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8 SDL_AUDIODRIVER=pulse %command%" but nothing helped.

Some ways to change the language?

I have same problem. Language is set to eng not pl.

Try to add -language polish to your startup options. (I don't know if it works, but at least it does for French.)

adding a launch option should be considered a workaround, not a resolved issue.

Pardon my ignorance, I always use everything in English, is there even a built in language option? If yes then I must have misunderstood the issue and the ticket should remain open until that issue is fixed.

It does. But the game doesn't use system language like it does on other Operating Systems.=

I have the same issue. I have the language set on French since the first launch and it is always in English. With "-language french" in launch option its works good, but its not resolved the initial problem.

Same wit Czech. -language czech helped. The language should be taken from language preference in Steam app properties.

From what I understand CS:GO support language Portuguese and Brazilian.

Yes, my language is supported. However, is unusable in Linux.

Run steam, go to propertiety CS GO in steam. Next paste in launch command line: -language brazilian

Just to help, I've used the -language brazilian on Ubuntu 15.10 and it just worked fine. Thank you @xpris!

I use Simplified Chinese, and -language Chinese doesnt work

Simplified Chinese have name "Schinese" in dota depots. So pls try launch with -language Schinese and let us know, if this help.
