Not Linux or Mac related. Not appropriate here On 28 Jul 2015 09:06, "Mariusz Ceier" notifications@github.com wrote:

also getting kicked doesn't result in a cooldown anyway. Please close.
Here's screenshot proving that it's possible to get cooldown for getting kicked: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=489836482
Yesterday I played 4 matches without issue (after another 7 day cooldown for the same thing). - lost 2 won 2.
On 5th match the opposite team was a lot better and I was not able to help team in first few rounds, so they decided to kick me (probably they thought with bot they will have better chance) - that's all ok.
What's not ok is that this results in 7 day cooldown (that's ridiculous) - I should have at most deranked, since they opposite team was above my skill level.
When I get kicked or perform bad I usually stop playing until next day - if I have such chance - since I know that means I need some rest. I don't see this cooldown as anything good in this case.
Here's the demo (if you want to watch it): steam://rungame/730/76561202255233023/+csgo_download_match%20CSGO-bk4XO-sZMVj-JaNaL-TR2zq-7h3RG
So it's still not the appropriate forum for this. The issue still needs to be closed.
Regardless, you got a cooldown for being repeatedly kicked in many matches. That's not a common problem dude, maybe work on being a better teammate.
Sorry, but you didn't play with me, so you can't really tell if I'm bad teammate or not.
I don't mind if this issue will get closed, but I hope that something will be done by valve with this cooldown system.
BTW. Where's appropriate place to post such issues ?
This github is for users to post bugs related to the Linux or Mac clients. Your problem is both not specific to the Linux/Mac clients, and it's not a bug. It's just simply how Valve has designed the matchmaking system and it's working exactly as they intended. You disagree with their policies, and that's your issue here. I'm not aware of any official channels for you to voice your concerns with Valve's policies, perhaps you could try complaining on reddit.
And I didn't play with you, but there was obviously multiple occasions where your teammates all agreed that you shouldn't be playing with them. Sometimes it's hardest to reflect back on yourself and see that's where the problem is.

Yeah, the reason is I was playing against better team (probably upranking match) and performing poorly - that's really good reason for cooldown /s
If you haven't played CS:GO enough, you might not know, that there are challenging matches which can be above your skill level - that's how MM gives you chance to prove that you deserve higher rank.
These were exactly the matches I got kicked on.
Here's demo of previous match where I'm top fragging on my team, we're losing and 1 person decides to kick whole team (after which I get cooldown): steam://rungame/730/76561202255233023/+csgo_download_match%20CSGO-Ywscs-6RZPD-e2zMO-MxujC-od5yD
1st kick was for a griefer, so it wasn't suspicious.
This tracker is specifically for Linux/OSX related bugs. I am closing this since it is not a Linux or OSX issue.
Not griefing, not team-killing, not cheating - but playing on losing side and getting kicked, should not result in competetive cooldown.
