Voice detection doesn't work at all #442

I can't say anything in lobby, also voice detection on game doesn't work too. But it works in DOta2! I've tried to play without pulseaudio (only ALSA) - voice detection still doesn;t work sysinfo https://gist.github.com/Yanpas/afa5682d8a81876a66fc

What do you mean exactly by 'voice detection'?

There are two ways to share your voice: to hold key K and automatic voice detection. The second one seems to be broken

I thought it was changing PulseAudio configuration: I run steam and CS GO, the plug in usb headset with mic and make them default - and cs go doesn't know that headset mic is default, but I was wrong. I ran steam and cs go without plugging anything to Pulseaudio - all to no avail. But I remember once voice detection was working, still don't know why. I've even tried to restart PulseAudio just before launching steam - no result

Will this ever get implemented? It disappeared from settings dialog some time ago, but I'm sure that many people miss this feature.
