CS:GO running at 1/3 of what it used to #531

My specs are miles ahead of the system requirements for the game yet my frames are being sent to Hell and nothing is fixing it. (Tried many video.txt combinations but this one seems to be working the best) (which still sucks)

and probably some other things that I am forgetting out of the sea of potential fixes I have tried.

I used to run this game at a cool 300+ at all times on the very same system I have today. Here are a few videos displaying my problem

-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUnfNmX8Djk (note how my framerate is absolute ebola just for standing still and looking at the bomb site.. The A bomb site is a particulary horrible area for FPS I have noticed)

The problem makes the game unplayable at a competative level due to the fact that as soon as an enemy(s) appear on my screen or I shoot / get shot at, my framerate spikes WELL below my monitor's refresh rate which makes it near impossible to land shots / control a spraydown. It feels like the problem extends beyond framerates. I feel a greatly increased sense of input lag whenever it happens as well.

This issue tracker is exclusively for problems with the OS X and Linux versions of CS:GO.

It happens to me if i have qbittorrent running in the background even if all transfers are stopped. Just the qbitorrent at idle causes severe game degradation.
