German keyboard y and z keys interchanged (affects all sourceengine games) #603

When using german input layout, sourceengine still uses english input layout (not for text input in chat or console). Example: if I bind z for jumping, I need to press y to jump.

OS: Ubuntu 14.04

I can confirm this bug. CSGO uses the english keyboard layout when changing the keyboard bindings in the options menu. However, in the console and text chat the key bindings are working properly.

If it affects all Source games, why not report this on Source's repository? Makes more sense :P

@davidw-valve any chance that this is fixed in source2? haven't had a chance to try because... well we Linux users are excluded from the limited test :(

...and if it is not fixed in source2 yet, that may be the right time to look into it... ten years after the bug was first reported...
