Grip does not work in The Gallery Episode 1, in some other games, it seems that Grip also did not work.
At the same time, everything on the initial steamvr screen works like type controllers, but the menu does not call, although it seemed to work fine on openvr 1.0.12.
Razer Hydra has enough buttons to emulate Vive controllers, there are even 4 extra buttons that you can use to rotate the player around its axis (because of the wires it will not work), as well as to move up or down (for example, crouch and the starting position).
In PavlovVR managed to include controllers. It was necessary to choose some kind of customization of the controllers and it worked only with it. The official setup did not work. This is strange, most do not need any custom controller settings and by default it doesn’t work, earlier it used to work.
I fixed the buttons in the driver from BetaVR and also added a crouch button. The updated driver can be found here. Since BetaVR no longer supports the driver, let's now join forces in this repository.
Checked in games: Half-Life: Alyx, VRChat, PavlovVR. Everything works well.
Hello, Razer Hydra controllers have stopped working in new games and in old ones.
Previously, they worked well and we could play almost all games.
The developer has already updated the driver, but it looks like you changed the SDK again and the driver broke again.
It seems that the developer has lost interesting and no longer wants to update the driver.
Could you please return the support of these controllers? Maybe the official driver? This is one of the most affordable ways to try and use VR. This will allow VR to reach more players around the world and popularize the idea of VR.
