Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019/2022/Plus - borked launcher #1186

With gamescope: gamescope gamescope2

Without gamescope: launcher launcher2

Also happening on Steam Deck. I really don't know how to debug this. Should I provide some logs? Just to make this issue somewhat useful. It was happening since forever.

@HunterCZ122 the fourth screenshot shows an unselected Full screen thingy w/ default resolution setting of 1024x768 Is that your display's actual resolution?

Yeah, if you're launching from steam, you could just try adding gamescope -- %command% |& ${HOME}/gamescope.log to the launch options. And then copy and paste the text in the log file to https://gist.github.com/ and then post a link to it here.

No, mine is 1920x1080, the game defaults to 1024x768.

Yeah, if you're launching from steam, you could just try adding gamescope -- %command% |& ${HOME}/gamescope.log to the launch options.

That command didn't work (nothing happens), but I got logs when running Steam from terminal instead: gamescope.log

Trainz A New Era doesn't seem to have this issue even when the launcher is extremely similar to newer versions. Screenshot_20240525_164228
