fps_override 1 can get rid of 100 fps limit
I know but... it doesnt matter...read my post again. Its dropping even from fps 100 to 40-50 eventhough I played some times with over 200+ fps(before the update)... no need to mention that I cant play with constant 120 fps either.

erm, developer 1 hasn't worked for some years has it (at least on multiplayer servers)? there was no way to get over 100 in FPS before they added fps_override recently. so I'm not sure how you could claim to have up to 200fps before update.
anyway, personally i didnt notice any FPS drops from the update. have you tried going back to the old GL settings using -nofbo in launch options?
ofc it was working...atleast in dod1.3 np to get over 200 fps but it was kinda buggy. it made you walk a little bit slower than players with 100fps but the game was smoother and aiming was easier...atleast for me :)

Hello there...before the update I could run dod with 200+fps (with developer "1" )with a few drops on bad coded maps like dod_saints and custom maps...but after the update my dod is even dropping from 100 / 99/ 90/ 80/ to 40-50 if players are around me..
AMDPhenom X6 1090T Processor 3.20 GHz 4 GB Ram Geforce 430 Gt (I know that this GPU is bad, but it was enough before the update and this game is from 1998) win7 64 bit
commands that I use: Launchoptions: -nofbo -stretchaspect -nomsaa -nohd gl_vsync "0" snd_noextraupdate "1" cl_filterstuffcmd "1" cl_particlefx "0" gl_texturemode GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_NEAREST
Nvidia settings: every AA is off, v-sync off, maximum performance, trilinear optimizing on
so why does dod have these huge fps drops since the update?
BTW: other bugs that I've noticed:
with all the other bugs I can live....BUT PLS fix the FPS-drop-issue...
