When in the middle of a game and my internet disconnects, the game audio will begin looping, I'll get an in-game "Fatal Error" notification that says "NET_SendPacket ERROR: Network is Unreachable". Pressing ESC is the only way out of the game at this point and it closes the game.
To reproduce simply join a server and in the middle of the game disconnect from the internet (preferably by disconnecting/turning off the router rather than turning it off through the OS itself).

Because the game crashes when this happens it's not possible (as far as I know) to get any information out of the console.
