Maybe its caused by coding locate (maybe are at big5, my OS is setup to utf-8 - by default).

I have a fix ready for this, where available we will show a Chinese translation now. Note that Half-Life 1 itself (in game) does NOT support Chinese and will use english characters. Counter-Strike and CZ should have full Chinese support.

not kidding me, idk why Valve games bad working with languages who using special script. Like han character, Kana, hangeul. Those language as i know also not work correct.
