Very excited that this is finally available, however, in training, the door never opens so we can begin, and in the game, once past the rocket, as the walls start to look older, the track comes to an end and we can go no further...

You need to opt Half-Life 2 into its beta, what you are seeing is due to the older Half-Life 2 running the new HL:S release.

Also, wrong tracker for this report, The Source-1-Games tracker should be used for HL:S.
