Mouse Lag while playing CS 1.6 #1897

Hi All,

I have this issue with my AIM while I am awping I feel it most of the time. The aim movement is very slow or laggy whenever an opponent comes and 9/10 times I miss the shot and end up being killed.

I use : Acer Nitro 5 i5 core (windows 10 home) with 8GB Ram 4GB Nvidia 1050Ti Graphics card and a Razer Mamba Torney Edition Mouse.

I have tried with below settings : v_sync=0 (Global setting and in game too), Mouse Precision nnhecked too, almost all mouse acceleration settings included -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd . I have used m_rawinput 1 also.

My FPS is good hovering around 95-100 and my ping would be 20-40 while gaming online.

Can someone help me on what other things I need to try to get rid of this issue.

What other launch options are you using? What are your nvidia settings for HalfLife? What is your monitor refresh rate while playing the game? What do you have for these?

Launch Options - I have played around with this mostly keeping the mouse accleration seetings as const. But -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd -freq 120 -nofbo is what I have kept Nvidia Settings - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Zb10oHsiJHDFJ3qTLYAYPXc9O8WPbGDf Refresh Rate - 60Hz I m using a laptop

No it doesn't work left or right, and it happens in single zoom too. The aim movement is just too laggy, you cant possibly drag or flick with an awp

Can you upload a demo showing it, or is it not visible in demo? Does it happen in both lan and online?

@djdallmann anything? Did the demo(s) help find out anything ? Also it happens in both LAN and wifi

Sorry been busy, will take a quick look tonight.

Video settings look fine, I can't play the demo because of missing models so what ever server you were playing on had custom models.
