Use default cfg and try with and without check-mark at "allow custom addon content"

Give this information: Cannot continue without model maps/de_dust2_2x2.bsp, disconnecting.

Can you post the ip of the server you are trying to connect, your console log during the connection and a screenshot of the error dialog please.

This is an issue with the setup of the http host this server is using (and the server itself is disallowing file downloads).

Strange, but nonbeta cs has downloaded that map without problems...

I see the problem, our download system enforced RFC 952 DNS addresses, the hostname for this server is invalid in that DNS naming scheme (it starts with a digit, that is not allowed). This is a bug on the steam client side and I can investigate a fix, in the meantime the server should pick a friendlier download url if possible.

The steam client update that just went live fixes this.

I can't join any Hide And Seek servers since the update came because some file is always missing. Plus mouse sensitivity has some acceleration added to it, that SUCKS. It's like a new game... and it sucks. Cs 1.6 has been a good game since it came out.. why destroy it!?

@kjellmeister if u got some troubles, create an issues on this tracker. At this time cs 1.6 have no acceleration, or u using wrong settings, it is mean so u should read carefully this tracker, and use search engine ofc.

i have the same problem but its for a zm map, this happend to the last map and ive been waiting for it to change, idk if its a me problem orr.... i see people playing and idk how to get the map.. thats what it said in console... do i need to add the map somewhere?

But Server Don't Donwload the map and i can't connect to Local Server
