You can see through the smoke, if you look through the alpha texture (teammates icons or worst smoke puffs) Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qx1A4HDzhPA&t=5s

Ability to see through smoke.

Ability to see through smoke even better if using 16 bit.
