This one is really lol. A friend did a "spray" ingame and the spray showed private conversations from the STEAM friends. And other players could read it.

@Ejziponken the quest is if you or who ever has had the problem have tried remove CS 1.6 completely from the computer and downloading it again and tried it, with out any custom content or so.

Are you seeing this if you just launch the game, or are you doing a resolution change and see it after that?

Could you, right click on Counter-Strike 1.6 and Half-Life(if you see it) in Library chose properties go to the Local Files hit browse local files and copy paste the path in the "path/address/location bar"

in half-life/mods some player models sometimes change: http://s44.radikal.ru/i103/1302/76/a9f918903082.jpg Not always, but quite often the case with graphics and such: http://i053.radikal.ru/1302/69/6e462d29994d.jpg shift+tab, ofc show this: http://s018.radikal.ru/i511/1302/95/40a3f2e06e76.jpg I play on 1280x1024, check other resolutions - the problem is the same.

@lafyn9 could you make a backup of that Half-Life directory? And then uninstall Counter-Strike 1.6 by right click on it in Steam Library, and chose Delete Local Content (might need to do this two times to actually completely uninstall it) And then install it again and try to play with out copying in any of your old files and report back?

zapy85, I do it before. This is clean client, I deliberately sat upon him to report the official bug. I just change my nick name, thats all what I done.

@lafyn9 right, write down what hardware he is using. CPU GFX + Driver version MB vjatseslav lv is the language specific folder i would presume.

vjatseslav, I dont know. maybe, some server created this folder, but i didn't change client. zapy85, Old version was cstrike_russian not lv..

This is a steam client bug with the overlay, we will have a fix out soon.
