The software rendering backend only works on my end if the game is running in a window. I saw another user who had the same issue, but the difference is that he crashes when the game runs in a window. After getting crashed, the game reverts back to using OpenGL, and sets the resolution to the lowest possible setting which can only be fixed with launch arguments. The message I get however, is quite strange. It says that the game failed to launch using OpenGL and will revert to Software. The opposite is true.
