[BUG] Sky Flashing #302

In some maps like de_dust2 you can perform so called sky flash. It's a bug what slows down your grenade, may make it invisible for a few seconds, after that it drops down from sky what acts like water, and explodes. I personally consider it a very annoying bug what I think is quite overused in america.

My fix suggestion: whenever grenade touches the sky, just remove the grenade itself (just make sure it's flash/he/smoke and not c4). Well, cause I think that would be the easiest, and most reasonable thing to do. Was thinking about suggesting for it to bounce of, but that wouldn't make much sense even if was easy to do.

Absolutely not. At the very least, let it be possible to throw nades over without them becoming neither invisible or slowed down. Preferably, just let it stay as it is.

Well, if they wont be slowed down, people can just flash each other, by throwing grenades over large walls, which is even worse than this glitch. Invisibility I don't think is possible to remove that easily. Most reasonable solution is to make grenade bounce back. Easiest solution is to remove grenade (but make sure it's not c4) once it touches the sky (and that's what I suggested).

Well, if VALVe will manage to make the bounce back possible, I guess it still will be annoying, but not as much though.

Look, CS:Source and CS:GO let's you throw grenades across the map. Why would you remove such a game feature to CS 1.6? Most of the time you can hear the water sound and even see it before it pops off, which gives you endless of time to turn 180 degree -- not least, you can throw silent pop flashes which you can't even react to, without the sky, so it really makes no difference. There's just in a very few places where you can throw a silent and invisible flash (e.g. banana on Inferno), which isn't that easy to pull off neither; not least, puts you in a very bad position if you time it wrong as well.

Throwing grenades over the sky may help to force your opponents to reposition, which I see as a tactical feature to the game; hence makes it not so ridiculously easy for the CT's to hold the bombsites. I'm completely confident that this won't be changed, and will stay as it is.
