Yes.
Gauss sound can be fixed with cvar "cl_lw 0" However this will mess up the tripmine viewmodel.
A fix would be appreciated.
@kisak-valve Would it be possible to split this issue in two? One would be a feature request for keeping gauss charge through loads/map loads (also mentioned here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/halflife/issues/1572) and another one would be sound issues and disappearing gauss beam with cl_lw 1

When I fully charge gauss (tau-cannon) and enter the map change, it starts recharging from start, and my previous charge gets wasted. If you're not careful, you can waste ammo that way, and it's very annoying. Also, after map change the recharging sound gets very weird.
