[CS] Increase in players disconnecting "Unable to connect to Steam" #3575

There is a huge number of players disconnecting involuntarily with message "Unable to connect to Steam" recently

its a serious issue. When I play on pre-25 half-life and CS both, then I have not noticed this issue, players are dropping all the time now

This is likely because the steam client (hl.exe "-steam") no longer injects properly into the game, when you're on the main menu you would typically see Steam logo and options on the right side of the screen but that's no longer the case at least for me.

This is the same behavior you'd get on the old halflife/cs 1.6 if you launched cs 1.6 directly with just these parameters. hl.exe -game cstrike

Steam would previously launch as follows hl.exe -game cstrike -steam
