System Specifications: https://gist.github.com/ultama121/879312132eee24ff0447

Version: Protocol version 48 Exe version 1.0.0.3/Stdio (czero) Exe build: 10:34:27 Feb 21 2013 (5964)

In short, nothing appears to be working aside from hitting quit. Connecting to a server from console doesn't work either. It might be significant that these crashes are always accompanied by one of those audio driver failure type sound loops. This doesn't stop until I unplug my USB soundcard from my laptop and plug it back in... that being said, I'm pretty sure this audio loop thing is unrelated seeing as its happened before in other games/applications during a crash... and on top of that, using my integrated sound card doesn't cause the loop. The game still crashes though.

Edit: As a side note, CZ appears to be working fine on my Linux partition (Fedora 18). Same computer, but here's the technical specs including driver versions and stuff: https://gist.github.com/ultama121/5467c29d7fac5f72ba92

I believe your install is corrupt, validate your install using the Properties menu in Steam. You will need to validate Half-Life, Counter-Strike 1.6 AND CZ to make sure everything is correct. If you don't own one of these games then just validate the ones you do own.

(in particular the bug is a bad serverbrowser.dll that got copied over from your old install).

I actually just went ahead and deleted and reinstalled them lol. The problem appears to be fixed!
