Right... Bug-Tracker: Issue #583 The game doesn't feel right.
How the hell do you want developers to fix this? Describe your problem and tell us how to reproduce it, if you can't, then close the issue and do not distract from the real issues.
Okay, I've listed them. Also, please don't be so disrespectful I've played this game much more than you. Thanks.
Describing a feel is a very subjective matter.
The mayority of the people here uses tecnical/reliable information to report out how's the game itself (for example the registration/network reports). All programs that are not on release stage always feel weird, buggy and non-traditional. Think about doing a PC clean-up while using it and expect that everything will work fine.
lol
Hi, thanks for trying to contribute, but I’m going to close this bug, if you have specific problems like rendering issues, behaviours that have changed, make a single bug for each one and they can be considered - to fix, or marked wontfix. Things like ‘The sprites are blurry since Steam HL1’ aren’t going to change if they’ve been here for a decade. Some of these already have issue reports, and its easy enough to search for them :)
Okay thanks and it's np if you remove this. I honestly tried to have people's voices heard and I never expected everything to change. I firmly believe that Half-Life is the foundation of what Valve was and still is and I only want the best. I completely understand I have little impact on what happens but it's the majority of the community that matters the most. Gabe Newell and the original development team did a fantastic job and I would be hurt to see the community's elders retire. If you would like to see a demo, well here it is...
If you would like the ‘people’s voices’ heard, follow these instructions, thank you. https://github.com/ValveSoftware/halflife#reporting-issues
Hello, this is NightMare and I'm writing this in regards to the current beta. I have conducted multiple surveys asking players what they think of the beta thus far and unfortunately, most people aren't happy with it whatsoever. These aren't just ordinary players, I'm referring to players who have been playing this game since it's original release in 1998 who have began to quit because of this. The data I've gathered indicates some positive feedback on some of the updates including commands such as "m_rawinput, gl_ansio 16, smoother game, etc..."; the problem seems to be with the overall "feel" of the game. The game simply just doesn't feel right. If I can suggest something I would suggest to get some experienced dedicated volunteer beta testers to help work the kinks out. Honestly, I love you Valve because I grew up playing your original game that started it all, "Half-Life" and theres many more out there just like me. You didn't let us down the first time and I really don't think you would let us down this time. Thanks Valve for making this fantastic game and I have many wonderful memories I won't ever forget.
Suggestions for Half-Life: Deathmatch and Adrenaline Gamer mod...
