< sarcasm> change 1 string is so hard, just impossible! Let's keep it as is, so players won't know about such cvar, because it's not in cl_crosshair group </ sarcasm>

agree with @MaxKorz, it is not a problem, in the end will still have to change the configs...

That would be great to change name of ur (@MaxKorz) topic to "rename CVars" and add that cvars too _cl_autowepswitch could be rename to cl_autowepswitch crosshair could be rename to 4example cl_crosshair_zoom_crosshair or cl_crosshair_zoomdot etc zoom_sensitivity_ratio could be rename to 4example sensitivity_zoom or sensitivity_zoomration etc

@r3n4m3 Thank you. But one bug report per bug, so Alfred can track things properly. I already created about graphheight #528 You can create reports about other cvars

I think it will good to close all another topics with same problem, and add all "renames" issues in one big issue, advantages of this suggestions is that everything will be in one place. All similar topics will be close as duplicates, suffering nonrepeating suggestions to the main message.

Rename a cvar is not as easy as you might think. Cvar may be used in a config file, in Options menu, other Cvars may depend on it, etc. So a big "to-rename" list might be hard to track. Plus, if anything breaks, it'll be easy to know which renamed cvar caused it

This is a great gameplay feature, it should be directly added in main mouse or crosshair menu rather using a poor var that nobody know.

Given all the user configs with this value currently set, the engineering work to not break them isn't worth it for a small tidying up of code.

@alfred-valve what about cvar-alias? Add cl_crosshair_dynamic as an alias to cl_dynamiccrosshair, so cl_dynamiccrosshair won't be deleted and people will know about such cvar

as more as i read from u guys i'll end up with racism shit, thats horrible. just stop it! BUY CSS/CS:GO and leave cs1.6. IT MUST BE SHITTY IN YOUR EYES.

how about renaming mp* cvars to cl and sv_ according to their allignement? OMFG stop this shit.
