Widescreenmode cuts only Height and Overview bug #877

Hello, i see that HL/CS the Widescreenmode not really use. So if you choose a Widescreenresolution you get only less Height and not more width.

And there is Overview Bug. The Position of the points are not same as the players.

Please remove in the cstrike_hd folder the unused files like speznas,militia models and the unused gfx files.

Oh sorry for the double issue. But the Widescreenbug is not alredy postet. :) i hope.

Have you tried opting "Low video quality" in Video options?

What does have it to do with this? Yes i have tried it for 2mins,thank you for the tipp,but it doesn't change anything. : ( It's an Engine Problem.

what's your native display resolution?

I have more Screens. 1.Monitor 1680x1080 (16:10) less height in nativ 2.Laptop 1280x800 (16:10) less height in nativ 3.TV (1280x720p) (16:9) less height in nativ 4.Monitor (1280x1024) (5:4) more height than in 4:3 :)

So it is not a problem from me,in source engine games i get more width. You can watch youtube videos with cs1.6 and you see if there 16:9 videos ,that the height ist cutted.

This is a dupe of the #450 , the issue is that fov doesn't change in widescreen.
