Does ingame voice comm work if you use your Steam assigned voice shortcut key?
Steam voice chat is working, OpFor voice comm does not.
I get this if I try to enable "Enable voice in the game" : Cvar_Set: variable voice_modenable not found
It's related to https://github.com/ValveSoftware/halflife/issues/755
Use console command voice_enable
instead (1 = enable)
To use voice commication, bind +voicerecord
(it's unbound by default)
CS 1.6 default:
voice_enable 1
bind "k" "+voicerecord"
I suppose this issue is about missing Use voice communication
setting in Keyboard Options
Wow, this was a lot more work than I hoped, it is added now though.
The settings of the Voice tab still don't do anything though, I guess.
I am not sure what you mean, the voice tab works for me. Make sure you have opted OpFor itself into the beta.
"Enable voice in the game" cannot be enabled permanently (Voice tab) and the "Use voice communication" is missing (Keyboard tab).
