No "back" button #214

DirvingWheel commented 10 years ago

If I go to settings, I can't move back to the main menu, because of no "back" button there.

ItsMeOnly commented 10 years ago

Your download might have been botched, because there's a back button in both Windows and Linux version of Portal 2 here.

I can confirm this [bug].

Steps to reproduce (just an example): go to settings, go to video settings, go to advanced video settings, change something (e.g. MSAA x4 -> MSAA x2 as I did), try to go back - a prompt will appear telling you something about applying your changes (to apply them or not), click any button ("No" as I did) ==> congrats, you have this bug.

Workaround: Use "ESC" instead.

ItsMeOnly commented 10 years ago

Not confirmed, the back button always appears to me.

Which still makes me puzzled: on my portal when asked about leaving without applying changes i have "Discard" and "Cancel". Which makes me wonder which build are you both using

Svetomech commented 10 years ago

Hmm... then I think it does matter I have Russian language selected? And I guess DirvingWheel has Russian translation enabled as well.

ItsMeOnly commented 10 years ago

Just tried that as well. Seems to be working fine. I do have some audio and caption "glitches" but AFAIR somebody mentioned that already.

My build ID is 264131, what is yours?

Svetomech commented 10 years ago

The same.

Pikrass commented 10 years ago

I experience the same issue with the same build and my game is in English.

ItsMeOnly commented 10 years ago

The only difference I can think of: I have had a retail (boxed) version installed first.

adueppen commented 10 years ago

I have experienced this issue too, but I just used Esc to substitute.
