Steam support wasn't very helpful so they told me to come here instead. Essentially portal 2 refuses to open whenever I click in play. It will "synchronize to the cloud" and say that I am playing it only to shut down after 5 seconds. No new tabs open or even tasks that I can see. I updated all my driver's, windows, steam and reinstalled the game. I tried running all the betas and even admin mode. Portal 1 works perfectly fine so I do not think it's a source issue, but I'm not the best with that kind of stuff. Looking on the steam community tabs, some people have the same issue, but no one has found an answer. Could you guys figure it out?
