Since one of the recent Portal 2 updates, pinging props (buttons, doors, etc.) in co-op no longer works correctly, resulting in the ping not appearing correctly (if at all) to your partner. The host's console reports Ill-formed signify command from client!, which normally should never appear unless the player manually types a singify command in the console with the wrong number of parameters.
