Engine Error "Unable to load corrupt map" #408

When loading the next section of portal 2 (The transition after Wheatley drops us in the mini office room by turning of the gravity beam) the game will crash with no errors except for once, when i got a error saying "unable to load corrupt map" I have tried reopening the same save or getting to that part in other saves and the same issue happens across all of them. Every time I try to load that same next section of game play, the same crash happens. Whenever I have had my computer validate the portal 2 files integrity, 9 files always fail to validate, except for when I got the error message. Im on windows 10 with a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz and 16GB of ram. (included just in case this is computer side and not a game bug) I do have a screenshot of the error message I received ![Uploading Portal 2 map error.png…]() .

Apparently reinstalling portal 2 fixes the issue.
