Model Browser doesn't work after last update #178

When I trying to do anything at model browser it doesn't work. I can't scroll list or use textbox for searching model. Looks like model browser is locked. It happen on second opening of model browser.

That makes problems for map making.

Same Here. Not just the source sdk 2013, same thing in other sdk tools for other games as well.

This also happens to me periodically.

A workaround that works for me is to cancel out of the model browser. Make one of the 2d viewports active and press CTRL+A. Then open the model browser again and it should function as intended.

This is what I see, tried @M0zilla's workaround and nothing happens.

I was having a very similar problem after a recent update and found the following file to be the cause: <path to installation directory>\bin\dxsupport.cfg

In my case this file was located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 Deathmatch\bin\dxsupport.cfg

Noting the file header, // DO NOT EDIT!! GENERATED BY dxsupport.pl, I decided it was safe to delete this file, so I deleted the file, reopened hammer, and the problem was solved, the model browser was usable again.
