Your system information

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Many games have minigames that have highscores that they could be proud of. For example Yakuza 0 has several. Archievements are only good for showing off milestones and this feature could be used to boast about a really good high score to friends and challenge them. No global leader-boards though as those always devolve into cheating. Just a marker for friends that this score was achieved. Achievements don't fulfill this purpose because they're always milestones. The API already exists and many games use it. It is just a simple matter of the Steam profile pulling from that API. https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/leaderboards I previously requested this on Steam Forums: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/1/3832045766782650340/ https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamLabs/discussions/2/4300317773576423571/

I don't think leaderboard is the correct word here as I do not wish for a leaderboard in the profile. The idea behind it would be "You're checking out my profile, now look at this highscore I made in this game. Can you do better?" It's a challenge to the onlooker, not a display of position.

Hello @Managor, for transparency, I adjusted the issue report title because it was needlessly inconsistent with the API that you're asking to have more visibility. There's no point in making it harder for a Steam developer to understand which data set you're referring to and doesn't change the intent of your request.
