Background game recordings some times do not save video, and always don't save video for non-steam games

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I'm on a steam deck OLED. With background recording active, some times the recording won't contain video and will just have a black screen. Other times it works fine for the same game. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to it. The relevant m4s files are extremely small when this happens. Audio is fine

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Launch a game with background recording
2. Check to see if the current background recording is black
3. If it's not black, go to 1

or

1. Launch a non-steam game with background recording
2. Check the recorded video

My system seems to also be affected, only audio is recorded.

Any chance this could be realted tot he amount of free space?

IIRC at the time my Steam Deck had way less free space than the estimated 10 GB.

Seems freeing up some space and deleting all previous recordings fixed it on my system. Or it could have been fixed by some other random reason.
