Your system information

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Expected Behavior: installed games be it flatpaks or not should still launch in gaming mode.

Current behavior: installed games shows as "install" and selecting confirm/a doesnt do anything (steam on desktop mode actually does navigate to appropriate game folder when viewing its game files)

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. go to installed games
  2. select a game
  3. instead of play button it shows an install button

also another issue: compatibility options not working

check box for "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" is not clickable or doesn't do anything at all (not sure if this is related to it but same issue applies to everything, flatpak apps or installed steam games)

tried going back to stable to install and play games, everything works fine but hopping back to beta still same issues

Hello,

Please go to Steam -> Settings -> Compatibility tab and make sure 'Enable Steam Play for supported titles' is enabled. Looks like the beta disabled that setting for some users (https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-runtime/issues/698)
