Ubuntu 24.10 No Games Launch

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I expect for steam to launch games not just stall on the process IPC:CSteamEngin . No games launch regardless of what game it is (have not tried a native linux game. steam is the deb build.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. open steam
2. try to run a game
3. after 10 minutes of stuck on "launching" check for any abnormal processes related to steam and see IPC:CSteamEngin with ~170-180mb of ram allocated and 1.8% cpu usage

I have a similar problem (games start only after IPC:CSteamEngin running for about 5 min, 25% processor usage on a 4-core i5-4670K) I suppose this is related to the old processor, on my 12th generation intel laptop games start immediately
