When I want to change the default version of Proton, because something, for example, does not work. It's every time I check such an option in the game properties to make the list of available versions appear, Steam always wants to download the experimental version which is at the top of the list.
This is annoying, because I always have to then cancel the download of this version, because I only use the stable versions.
The default should be the proton version selected from the main client settings, or the latest one installed and not the one at the top.
In addition, versions that are already installed should be highlighted, a different color or some kind of icon, so that I don't have to remember them.
