[CS 1.6] Can not hear voice chat #1163

Voice chat does not work inbound, so I do not know if they can hear me yet. (i will ask next time in text chat). The usual voice icon is really skippy and very brief.

I also can not understand incoming voice chat on Counterstrike and the indicator for who is talking flickers, however, my system is an invalid test case for this issue because I am using an experimental openal to JACK pipeline.

Just in case anybody sees this, the bug was probably closed because it has already been reported here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/876

which is still an open bug, so please add any further information there.

This was kind of my fault. @alfred-valve saw my post and I deleted it again. I thought I screwed up.
