What happens with the other two monitors?
This is a duplicate of https://github.com/ValveSoftware/halflife/issues/7. What resolution does the game claim it's using in-game? Also, you may be rubbing up against the fact that the horizontal viewing angle is hardcoded for counterstrike in order to prevent an advantage from a panoramic setup (or 16:10 versus 4:3).
Closing in favor of the existing halflife issue.
I have 3 monitors in portrait, for a total of 3600x1920 display resolution with 13.4 amd drivers on Ubuntu 12.04. Sadly when I start CounterStrike, it only uses the primary (left-most) monitor and not the 2 other when using
fullscreen
mode. It does have 3600x1920 in the video options but it's displaying horizontally compressed on the left most monitory. The card is an ATI Radeon 6870.Thanks,
M-A
